Buried Treasure can be worth from between 1 and 6 gold when discovered, so odds are you'll get the most gold on any wild island when you find it, just find it before your opponent does! One thing is certain: Any ship carrying Buried Treasure will likely be a marked ship. This dynamic changes the treasure allocation, creating a more risk-reward game in regards to treasure choices.
